The Easter show

My friend and I went to the Easter show at Olympic Park on Good Friday, April 22.
The show was so busy. My friend told me because Easter was a big festival and most Australians had already waited for the show for a year!
I thought the Easter show was a children’s paradise. There were a lot of kids’ shows, lovely animals and some interesting competitions.
The show wasn’t big, but included mostly entertainment, local food and traditional shows (woodchop, lumberjack show, sheep shearing and so on).
The Alpaca was the animal I saw first. It had a long neck, soft fur, bright eyes and a lovely face, they looked so cute. Also, I watched a polo competition for the first time. Two teams of six persons rode horses to catch a small ball on the grass. I thought it was very difficult to win the competition.
I was happy on the day. Not only the weather was pretty good, but also there were a lot of new things for me.

  1. Sounds like you had a good time at the Show! I'm sure that by Chinese standards it is a small event but to Sydneysiders it's huge!
